An Indigenous Message to the World
Wealth of Our Forests: An Indigenous Message to the World is a collaborative music video bringing together Indigenous voices, languages, and images from several territories across Asia.
The video presents forests not as empty land or commodities, but as living territories connected to food, water, medicine, culture, knowledge, biodiversity, identity, and the continuation of life.
The project was co-produced by Indigenous youth activists, the Asia Indigenous Peoples Pact, and Little Anarky Films.
Kalfein’s Contribution
Selected Footage Included in the Final Video
Several pieces of footage filmed by Kalfein Wuisan were selected and incorporated into the completed music video.
The footage was contributed through a wider Asian Indigenous network and forms one part of a collective audiovisual work involving contributors from different communities and territories.
